About the Role
Curative Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team, providing both in-person and virtual visits with a focus on care for those lacking regular primary care access.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients (ages 18+) through in office and virtual visits.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, including reviewing medical histories, performing physicals, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Utilize telemedicine experience to conduct virtual patient visits, ensuring high standard of care and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patients.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and fellow APPs as needed, in accordance with Texas and Florida state regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical services and programs.
- Contribute to the development of a collegial and collaborative workplace.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited institution (for Nurse Practitioner).
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (for Physician Assistant).
- Current board certification: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC) for NP; Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) by the NCCPA for PA.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct in-person patient care experience in Primary Care.
- Active and unencumbered license to practice in the state of Texas (APRN for Nurse Practitioners; PA license for Physician Assistants).
- Florida Telehealth License or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Proven experience in providing patient care via telemedicine platforms.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset with a commitment to creating a positive work environment.
- Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
