About the Role
The Resident Care Coordinator supports the Director of Wellness in maintaining high standards of resident care, staffing coordination, and team development. This role plays a key part in ensuring care teams are supported, schedules are maintained, and residents receive safe, quality services in a compassionate and compliant environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules for CNA, CMA, and PSA team members to maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Support onboarding, training, competency checks, and ongoing development of care staff
- Assist in monitoring resident care services and ensuring compliance with company standards
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and collaborate with leadership on staffing and resident needs
- Ensure timely completion of resident weights, vitals, and required documentation
- Monitor care team adherence to safety procedures, policies, and administrative expectations
- Provide coaching and support to care staff to promote a positive and service-focused environment
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all resident, family, and team member interactions
Requirements
- Current Medication Aide certification required
- Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare environments preferred
- Previous experience supporting or leading care teams preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage staffing coordination and multiple priorities effectively
- Professional, team-oriented mindset with strong customer service skills
