About the Role

The Project Manager is accountable for planning, monitoring and controlling all aspects of projects from existing and new clients and coordinating with all the stakeholders, to achieve the project objectives on time and to the specified cost, quality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the project from initial planning to delivery.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of projects to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.
  • Work in coordination with Sales Managers for existing & New clients; provide inputs on project feasibility/workarounds.
  • Coordinate/communicate with clients throughout the duration of the projects in a timely manner and update them on the exact status.
  • Check and review the instruction list given to Internal & External resources.
  • Ensure the highest quality level of work by following & applying a strict quality control process for all jobs before delivered to the client.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with Quality & Timely service.
  • Successfully manage Project Budgets (Operating Profitability).
  • Closely monitor the progress of production at each stage of the process; prioritizing tasks while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure on-time completion of projects leading to On-Time Billing.
  • Troubleshoot issues/concerns as needed.
  • Perform documentation and reporting, including updating TMS, client status, internal customer status, and project status reports.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Project Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Localization industry.
  • Experience working with industry and project-specific tools (PMS, CAT, Data tools).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Effective listener and communicator.
  • Capable of multitasking and being flexible.
  • Inclined towards self-development and continuous learning.

Skills

  • Excellent English and Japanese written and spoken skills.
