About the Role

AvalonBay Communities is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to manage the daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure residents experience luxury living. This role is crucial in helping residents find the best place to call home through customized tours and attentive follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the leasing team.
• Provide customized tours to prospective residents.
• Follow through on leads to ensure prospective residents feel cared for.
• Be available on Saturdays for prospective resident tours.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
