About the Role

As our Mechanical Drafter/Designer extraordinaire, your job is to unleash your superhuman abilities and 3-D mechanical design skills. You'll work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the RF and microwave industry, based in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Solidworks Professional to produce 3D models, drawings and fabrication packages for custom RF instruments, including BOMs.
  • Work with each project team in understanding and implementing packaging specifications.
  • Support Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing teams as requested.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 yrs experience with Solidworks 3-D or AutoDesk Inventor Design Software
  • Skills in written and verbal communication.
  • At least 1 year Mechanical Engineering/Technical study in an accredited program or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and engineering drawings.
  • Understand machine shop manufacturing and related assembly processes.
  • Self-motivated, a multitasking wizard, and detail-oriented.
  • Prioritization skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and logical thinking.
  • Strong ethical standards.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • May be subject to a government security investigation to obtain a government security clearance.
