About the Role

Implement, deliver, and support initiatives that advance the Alzheimer’s Association’s program delivery and growth strategy for professionals. Identify, recruit, and engage professionals and organizations to expand network reach in alignment with strategic goals. Serve as the Association's expert in dementia care practices and related products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of professional initiatives like Project ECHO, Care Coaching, and Conference strategies.
  • Maintain expertise in best practices for dementia care in long-term, home, and community-based settings, providing support across departments.
  • Facilitate professional engagement by sharing information about products and services that meet care setting needs.
  • Manage relationships with care professional leaders using a relationship sales approach to grow the Association’s care professional program reach and revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in social services or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with or for a residential or healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in community outreach activities.
  • Competency in teaching, training, delivering educational programs, or public speaking/group facilitation.
  • Proven success in project management and coordination of services.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with community partners, organizations, staff, and diverse populations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, hold others accountable, and reach mutually agreeable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with long-term care settings and/or home and community-based care settings.
  • Ability to represent the Association effectively to community partners, leaders, and corporate partners.
  • Ability to multitask, be flexible, and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in recording and monitoring systems as needed per grant requirements.
  • Experience building rapport/trust, assessing needs, and articulating a value proposition.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and proof of automobile insurance.
  • General knowledge of community health, community-based organizations, and systems.
