About the Role

Taskrabbit is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. This role involves partnering with business leaders to understand performance, evaluate investments, and guide sustainable growth and profitability. Success requires strong financial instincts, excellent modeling skills, data analysis capabilities, and the ability to build partnerships and translate complex analysis into clear decisions.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain complex financial models and reports in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Play a critical role in forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles.
Conduct ROI analyses to evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities.
Present analysis to senior and cross-functional audiences, crafting compelling narratives.
Take a leadership role in internal team meetings, coach junior team members, and drive process improvements.
Help build finance's reputation as a strategic partner by delivering actionable insights.
Contribute to Taskrabbit's internal AI strategy by identifying and executing opportunities to enhance efficiency through AI tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, mathematics, analytics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
5–8 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or business analytics.
Experience in a fast-paced tech environment, ideally a marketplace business.
Excellent financial modeling skills with a hands-on approach to data and model construction.
Ability to bridge technical and business audiences, translating complexity into clarity.
Ability to identify critical business problems and solve them with rigorous, creative analysis.
Self-starter who takes ownership, operates with high integrity, and brings curiosity to every challenge.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
