About the Role
Engages in receiving, transporting, stacking, sorting, supplying, shipping, maintaining and recording of stock in warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Unload and arrange incoming freight for storage in the warehouse.
- Unload raw material.
- Handle bulk material unloading, including hooking to the proper silo, sampling material, and checking tailings.
- Inspect incoming freight to ensure all items on freight bill or bill of lading are received and notify manager of damaged goods.
- Enter materials received into the computer system.
- Label, case, and pack product for shipment.
- Load outgoing freight.
- Move materials into and out of storage areas or production departments.
- Rotate stock.
- Participate in inventory of materials and product to determine supply requirements.
- Clean warehouse and production areas as necessary.
- Move between East and Main Plants on production lines and shipping.
- Perform all other reasonable work requests from manager.
Requirements
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all company safety policies.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Possess basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Nav).
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain ethical conduct.
