About the Role

The New York Yankees are seeking highly enthusiastic, hardworking, and dedicated 50/50 Raffle Representatives to promote the 50/50 Raffle program. This role supports and grows the Yankees 50/50 Raffle initiative, where one winner receives 50% of the jackpot and the remaining 50% benefits the Yankees Foundation. Representatives educate and assist guests with acquiring raffle tickets throughout Yankee Stadium.

Responsibilities

Represent the New York Yankees and the Yankees Foundation in a positive and professional manner, while providing exceptional customer service to guests.
Arrive at Yankee Stadium up to two (2) hours prior to game time.
Engage, motivate, and assist guests with obtaining 50/50 Raffle tickets at assigned kiosks or roaming designated areas.
Approach and captivate large numbers of guests upon gates opening and through the duration of the game.
Use mobile handheld devices and printers for ticket distribution.
Clearly communicate the mission of the New York Yankees Foundation and 50/50 Raffle participation details.
Effectively communicate troubleshooting matters, supply needs, and equipment concerns to supervisors.
Adhere to daily coverage assignments and adjust as directed.
Commit to working a minimum of 40 games from March through September, with potential for post-season games.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

High School diploma.
Professional demeanor, hospitable, and customer service oriented.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and quick learner.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for the New York Yankees Foundation’s mission.
Flexible work schedule and ability to work the majority of home games during the baseball season.
Ability to work in an outdoor stadium environment.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
