About the Role
The Sr. Campaign Manager, Paid Social is responsible for overall account performance and execution, mentoring junior employees, and providing best-in-class expertise and recommendations to drive performance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Managers to provide insights for RFPs, decks, proposals, and planning recommendations.
- Develop best-in-class deliverables and reporting for clients using available technology and services.
- Act as an expert in paid media capabilities, identifying optimal client solutions and staying updated on new tools and technologies.
- Manage and oversee campaign setup and execution.
- Monitor creative calendars and campaign budgeting.
- Ensure consistency of ad specifications and campaign objectives.
- Direct site tagging strategy and manage cost-per-acquisition campaigns.
- Pull reports, prepare insights and recommendations, and present them effectively.
- Educate agency teams and clients on best practices and campaign objective requirements.
- Monitor client goals and KPIs to ensure timely and complete campaign delivery.
- Create strong collaborative relationships with planning teams and specialty business units.
- Mentor and train Campaign Managers and Associates on tools and processes.
- Partner with Account Managers to source proposals from media partners and liaise with Specialty Business Units.
- Ensure invoice clearing and budget management.
- Oversee plan execution, evaluate campaign performance, optimize campaigns, provide post-campaign reports, and ensure flawless setup and digital activation.
Requirements
- Professional or educational background in Marketing or Advertising is advantageous.
- 3-4 years of experience managing paid social and search campaigns.
- Proficient in executing campaigns on various social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, etc.).
- Proven in-depth knowledge of the digital media industry.
- Previous experience working within an advertising agency or with a media partner.
- Full understanding of the roles of various digital channels.
- Understanding of trafficking and website tagging processes is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively apply knowledge and insights from research resources.
- Passion for data, emerging media, and technology.
- Professional learning agility with a passion for continuous development.
- Client service oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving, team assistance, and self-development.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly developed organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to develop and foster relationships with media partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
