About the Role

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be a key driver for our banking clients in areas of digitalization, process automation, artificial intelligence, microservices, cloud, and DevOps. You will engage with stakeholders from enterprise architecture and management, understand industry trends and challenges, and inspire software engineers with your passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on all aspects of architecture management, target architectures, modernization, transformation, and the introduction of future-proof core systems or AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with decision-makers at clients (business and IT) on an equal footing, represent solution strategies, and holistically understand industry and project challenges end-to-end.
  • Develop tailor-made and innovative software solutions with a passionate team.
  • Take responsibility for architectural topics in consulting and implementation projects.
  • Actively contribute expertise to Tech Communities (local and global), participate in publications, and share knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Ideally, a completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, another STEM field, or a completed, relevant vocational training.
  • Several years of professional experience in IT projects within the banking industry, e.g., as an IT or Solution Architect with design responsibility (full/partial).
  • Excellent know-how in architecture frameworks, business processes, core and cross-sectional systems, as well as strengths in methodology, design, technology, cloud, and integration.
  • Initial experience with AI architectures, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions in enterprise environments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional leadership competence, and high customer orientation.
  • Willingness to travel for projects.
  • Proficient in German and English.
