About the Role
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned guestrooms and maintaining the cleanliness of public hotel areas according to established standards. This role emphasizes accommodating guest preferences, efficiency, quality, and contributing to a hospitable environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage guests, coworkers, and managers professionally and respectfully.
- Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
- Clean assigned guestrooms and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
- Report and turn in lost and found items.
- Prepare work orders for maintenance needs in guest rooms or public areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized supply cart and housekeeping storage areas.
- Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Properly maintain all work equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room and associate rest/locker rooms.
- Deliver cots, cribs, and other guest supplies upon request.
- Perform special deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Clean assigned public areas including lobby, corridors, offices, lounges, banquet areas, pool facilities, entranceways, elevators, public restrooms, and fitness room.
- Remove trash from refuse areas in student areas as assigned.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries with sensitivity and immediacy within 10 minutes.
- Comply with all department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform duties within the housekeeping department, such as houseman, laundry attendant, or lobby attendant.

- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
