About the Role
AVE is seeking passionate maintenance professionals to join our award-winning team as we expand our portfolio of luxury flexible-stay apartment communities nationwide. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Follow standard operating processes and procedures
- Perform maintenance functions including painting, caulking, HVAC, lock, window, door, electrical, and appliance repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance and change light bulbs, filters, and batteries
- Execute suite make-readies using the maintenance checklist
- Complete resident service requests within 24 hours
- Organize and clean the maintenance shop and remove garbage daily
- Manage inventory and communicate supply needs to the Maintenance Manager
- Maintain and clean garbage enclosures, dumpsters, and compactor rooms
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service requests
- Respond to community emergencies such as floods, fires, or power loss
- Perform snow removal to ensure community accessibility
Requirements
- Minimum of two to three years of maintenance, construction, or related experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stretching, standing, and walking for long periods
- Comfortable with exposure to chemicals
- Reliable transportation for on-call rotations and emergencies
- Available for full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-player attitude
