About the Role
As an Engagement Manager in Data & AI for the Public Sector at Capgemini, you will be responsible for initiatives that strengthen governmental capabilities, modernize administrative processes, and create measurable value for citizens. You will combine technological excellence with social responsibility, ensuring innovative data and AI solutions are implemented effectively for the public good. You will manage complex projects in the Public Sector from planning through to execution and commercial management.
Responsibilities
- Planning and managing projects in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements of public clients
- Developing appropriate resource models and coordinating international project teams
- Leading distributed teams and supporting the development of employees at various locations
- Managing client relationships with a focus on developing the service portfolio and participating in innovation initiatives
- Transparent reporting on project progress and finances, and managing projects under various service and procurement models (e.g., Managed Services, project-based support)
Requirements
- Experience in leading projects with up to 20 employees in the public sector in local and international contexts
- Experience working with public clients, authorities, or institutions
- Leading technical and professional teams and supporting problem-solving
- Implementing projects in the Public Sector using structured and agile methods, considering risks, dependencies, and escalation needs
- Confident communication in German and English
- Structured and solution-oriented work approach
