About the Role
Join a team dedicated to supporting music creators. This role involves providing high-level legal counsel and business affairs support within an innovative environment that blends the resources of a global music corporation with the creative spirit of an independent label.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal counsel to internal departments in civil, copyright, collective management, competition, trademark, IT, and corporate law.
- Draft and negotiate artist, band acquisition, licensing, and broadcasting rights agreements.
- Manage judicial and administrative proceedings in collaboration with external counsel.
- Oversee legal administration tasks related to contract management.
Requirements
- Two successfully completed German state law examinations (Staatsexamen).
- In-depth knowledge of civil, commercial, and copyright law.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in word processing and office software applications.
- Strong team player with flexibility, resilience, reliability, and a quick grasp of complex issues.
