About the Role
The Revenue Audit Manager is responsible for the successful coordination of activities within the income audit department, supervising auditors, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Revenue Auditors and support the Income Audit Manager in assigning work, directing employees, scheduling, and training.
- Participate in the employee selection process, including interviewing and recommending hires.
- Set performance standards for employees and align individual performance with organizational goals.
- Administer employee discipline and issue corrective actions.
- Implement and ensure compliance with department policies and procedures according to gaming regulations and internal controls.
- Audit various departments including Main Cage, Count Room, retail, valet, and Food and Beverage.
- Audit paperwork from various revenue-generating departments to ensure compliance with company policies, New York state regulations, and Federal and State laws.
- Issue exception reports for violations of policies, regulations, and laws.
- Analyze and create spreadsheets in compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.
- Provide outstanding customer and employee relations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to applicable statutes, rules, and regulations.
- Three (3) years of management/supervisory experience in the gaming industry required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from employees or guests.
- Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and inference.
- Ability to create, read, and analyze spreadsheets of statistical data.
- Ability to decipher and maintain various reports.
- Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
- Must be able to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
Skills
- Proficiency in English required.
- Second language is a plus.
- Moderate physical ability required.
- Ability to lift or maneuver at least twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Varied instances of standing/walking required.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
