About the Role

Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Parts Counter Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting the Northeast's essential trucking community by ensuring customers receive the right parts and excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Handle parts order requests via telephone, e-mail, or in-person
• Utilize manufacturer and vendor catalogs to locate parts for customers, internal and external
• Advise customers on related parts
• Follow up on backordered parts, and contact customer with status
• Ensure that inventory control practices are followed
• Communicate with Parts Manager on inventory issues
• Communicate with Service Department regarding parts availability and pricing
• Provide solutions for the needs of our customers
• Assist with other projects as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of heavy truck/auto parts or shop experience
• Mechanical aptitude, desired
• Customer service skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Employment may be contingent upon Allegiance’s receipt of an acceptable and job-related drug test, motor vehicle report, and/or reference check, as applicable and permissible by law.
