About the Role

The Membership Receptionist is responsible for welcoming, directing, and signing in all members and guests to the property. This role involves managing the reception desk, handling basic administrative duties, attending to the cloakroom, and performing guest list responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about all aspects of the property and neighborhood, fostering a 'home away from home' atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Ensure every member is welcomed by name and guests are welcomed with open arms and in a hospitable manner.
Answer high-volume phone lines for restaurant, roof, and cinema reservations, general inquiries, deliveries, and messages.
Be well-versed on standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation, and amenity availability/pricing.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment, including the reception area, desk, and coat check closet.
Perform Guest List duties on the floor level, club, and/or Rooftop.
Support, redirect, and problem-solve in real-time to address guest concerns and set action items.
Assist guests by checking/retrieving their coats and/or left items.
Build relationships with members and guests, communicating red flags and positive feedback to management.
Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
Perform other duties as required to support the running of the house.

Requirements

Must be knowledgeable on all aspects of the property and neighborhood.
Must foster a 'home away from home' feeling when members enter the building.
