About the Role
Resource Label Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Finishing Operator to join their team. This role focuses on the setup and operation of commercial label inspector machines, including visual quality control, and operating equipment to slit printed material into specified widths. Responsibilities
- Receive job assignments and select correct cores and rewind method based on job specifications.
- Review job jackets to ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications are met.
- Inspect products for quality integrity and package them appropriately.
- Monitor material flow through the machine to detect cutting and winding irregularities.
- Ensure the quality of work, including color, size, die cut, perforations, print, and quantity of packaged items.
- Assist in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging of converting jobs.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
- Remove and replace blades on inspection machines.
- Complete paperwork for each job and package finished goods for shipment.
- Maintain clear and organized work areas and adhere to housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to read a ruler.
- Basic computer skills.

- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly required to stand, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to walk and use hands to handle or feel.
- Occasionally required to lift or move up to 40 pounds.
