About the Role
We are seeking dedicated job coaches to individually advise, guide, and support job seekers in developing and achieving their career goals. This role is part of a job coaching project at the Umwelt-Bildungszentrum Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Individual coaching and support for job seekers in integrating into training or employment.
- Conducting potential analyses and developing individual integration and application strategies.
- Conducting individual and group coaching sessions on topics such as applications, the job market, self-presentation, and motivation.
- Creating and optimizing application documents, and preparing for interviews and job speed dating events.
- Acquiring and maintaining employer contacts, supporting trial work placements, and managing placement processes.
- Assisting with the use of digital application media and online services of the Federal Employment Agency.
- Documenting coaching progress and collaborating with job centers, network partners, and the project team.
Requirements
- Vocational or university degree with at least one year of professional experience in vocational/social integration of the target group.
- Knowledge of the educational landscape, requirements of various professions, and the training and job market.
- Experience with personnel selection systems and company selection criteria in the application process.
- Sound digital skills in using Office applications, internet research, and the online portals of the Federal Employment Agency.
- Practical experience in application training and creating application documents.
- Empathy, social competence, and understanding of the target group's life situations.
- Intercultural competence and sensitivity when working with people with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills, enjoyment of contact, and motivating conversational style.
- Creativity, solution-orientation, and enjoyment in individually supporting people.
- Teamwork skills, organizational talent, and a structured approach to work.
