Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of major construction packages, ensuring safety, quality, programme, and budget targets are met.
- Make informed operational decisions on sequencing and develop robust short, mid, and long-term plans.
- Support senior construction leadership by planning short-term works, coordinating trade contractors, and ensuring safety, wellbeing, and quality.
- Manage lookahead planning, provide technical guidance, and maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, and delivery teams.
- Drive continuous improvement, digital adoption, and responsible business priorities.
- Collaborate across teams to meet programme goals and advance net-zero ambitions.
- Manage exceptional safety, quality, sustainability, and compliance standards.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure ethical, compliant, and financially responsible project delivery.
- Develop teams, share best practices, and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with other managers to effectively manage site operations.
- Adopt a results-focussed mindset, taking personal responsibility and accountability to deliver excellence, value, and quality.
Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of construction sequencing, recovery plans, and resource allocation.
- Good understanding of CDM Regulations obligations.
- Working knowledge in project delivery.
- Ability to write informative, concise, and meaningful reports.
- Ability to motivate and energize contract partners by building trust and understanding.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
