About the Role

The Employee Relations Specialist will provide end-to-end employee relations case management across Health, Wealth and Career (HWC), Risk and Broking (R&B), and Corporate segments. This role supports managers in ensuring a fair and consistent approach aligned with organizational policies and procedures, while also identifying trends and developing HR guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective case management for issues including disciplinary action, performance management, grievances, absence management, and facilitation of termination and exit processes for involuntary separations.
  • Develop strong, consultative relationships with managers, leaders, and HR colleagues as a trusted employee relations specialist to identify issues and guide them to resolution.
  • Ensure up-to-date HR and Employment Law knowledge, providing advice in line with law and best practice, and offering guidance on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Provide project management support and data analysis/review to identify ER trends and ensure TUPE and redundancy projects are completed consistently, efficiently, with due diligence, and within required timeframes.
  • Ensure Line Managers understand how to conduct meetings, including advice on preparation, chairing, and conclusion.
  • Identify and drive ideas and training programs to foster a constructive employee relations culture, aiming for a fair, respectful, and consistent business environment.
  • Provide additional support within the Employee Relations team for projects, peak capacity periods, and broader HR team priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Employee Relations Lead to identify employee relations cases with potential regulatory conduct rule breaches.

Requirements

  • Experience in end-to-end employee relations case management.
  • Experience in providing HR guidance and developing common tools, templates, and approaches.
  • Experience in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and HRBPs.
  • Experience in project management and data analysis for identifying ER trends.
  • Experience in managing TUPE and redundancy projects.
  • Experience in advising on meeting preparation, chairing, and conclusion.
  • Experience in identifying and driving training programs.
  • Experience in identifying employee relations cases with potential regulatory conduct rule breaches.
