About the Role
Peec AI is seeking a Working Student in Finance & Accounting to manage daily finance operations for its German and US entities. This role is ideal for someone aiming for a career in finance operations and accounting, looking to build a foundation within a rapidly scaling, international company.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day finance operations for German and US entities
- Prepare invoices for payment and manage the accounts payable process
- Support the billing process and interface with Sales and RevOps in the Deal Desk
- Assist Accounting with revenue recognition and ensure data accuracy in source systems
- Handle preparatory accounting tasks for month-end close and provide necessary documentation to the accounting firm
- Collaborate with tax advisors, budget owners, and employees
- Enforce and maintain internal policy frameworks
- Manage the dunning process, communicate with customers on outstanding payments, and partner with Customer Experience on collection cases
- Support employees with expense report submissions and maintain documentation
- Work with US and German tax advisors on employee benefits tracking and support payroll from the finance side
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full-time in a BA or MSc program in Berlin for the duration of the role
- Available 20 hours per week
- Genuine interest in developing a career in finance operations and accounting
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable work approach
- Comfortable owning and completing operational processes
- Clear communicator capable of bridging internal teams and external stakeholders
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential, time-critical work
- Fluent in English
