About the Role
This entry-level technician role is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building an automotive career. You will gain hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance and light repairs on newer vehicles, with support for ASE certification and advancement into higher-level mechanic positions.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and light repair work on fleet vehicles.
- Conduct oil and fluid services, tire changes, and rotations.
- Perform basic repairs and routine maintenance tasks safely and with quality.
- Assist experienced technicians with additional repairs and diagnostics as skills develop.
- Support vehicle availability and ensure customer safety and dependability through maintenance.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Have at least 6 months of auto maintenance experience or automotive technical school coursework.
- Be able to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
- Be comfortable working in a mechanical shop environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
- Possess basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit, and kneel frequently.
- Be able to enter, exit, and drive vehicles.
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Requires regular, on-site presence; cannot be performed remotely.
- 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program is a bonus.
