About the Role

As the Nursery Housekeeper, you will be an ambassador for Kido's values and a gatekeeper for its vibrant culture. You will ensure children are provided with wholesome food throughout the day and act as an advocate for nutritious meals, communicating menus to children and parents. Responsibilities

• Ensure the nursery is presenting itself in the best way, looking welcoming and inviting.
• Maintain a clean, fresh, and tidy environment, ensuring everything is in its place.
• Clean and sanitize equipment.
• Tidy away clutter and keep floors clear.
• Empty bins and put away deliveries.
• Understand and comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Take ownership for making the nursery look beautiful and ready for inspection.
• Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Promote excellent hygiene practices and maintain outstanding levels of cleanliness.
• Be aware of and comply with EHO and COSHH regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and protection for all children through safe working practices.
• Assist the team with other duties as needed to foster a supportive and inclusive culture.
• Work within Kïdo Schools Safeguarding policy and escalate any concerns appropriately.
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner to ensure all stock is ordered and organised.

Requirements

• Must not require sponsorship.
• Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered.
• Successful candidates are expected to undergo pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS and barred lists check.
