About the Role

As an experienced Resident Liaison Officer, you will be a visible point of contact for customers, engaging through home-visits, newsletters, meetings, and resident open days. You will ensure residents are aware of works processes and communicate updates/changes accordingly. Additionally, you will coordinate key handovers to site teams and provide high-standard customer aftercare, ensuring satisfactory work completion and managing expectations between residents, the client, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a visible point of contact for customers.
  • Engage with residents through home-visits, newsletters, meetings, and resident open days.
  • Ensure residents are informed about works processes.
  • Communicate updates and changes to residents.
  • Coordinate the handover of keys to site teams.
  • Provide high-standard customer aftercare.
  • Ensure works are completed satisfactorily.
  • Manage expectations between residents, the client, and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Must possess the confidence to manage difficult situations.
  • Must be a naturally excellent communicator.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ideally have experience working for a Contractor or in a client-side resident liaison / community engagement role, preferably within planned / reactive maintenance or asset management.
  • Must be resilient under pressure.
  • Must understand the need for discretion and respect in a public-facing role.
  • Must have a valid UK driving licence.
  • All applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check.
