About the Role
Provide administrative and sales support to the Broker Sales Team nationally across the UK, ensuring a high level of customer service and contributing to client acquisition and revenue maximization.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Broker Sales Team nationally across the UK.
- Deliver a high level of customer service to all customers and brokers in the SME and Mid-market segment.
- Support the team in acquiring SME and National clients, maintaining strong client, broker, and prospect relationships to maximize revenue.
- Assist New Business Managers with internal systems, calls, and monthly reporting.
- Support prudent Commercial Underwriting of credit insurance business by adhering to Coface standards and delegations.
- Maintain efficient processing of calls and email inquiries, meeting response time and resolution targets.
- Provide verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services.
- Maintain good relations with all other departments and external customers and brokers.
- Adhere to UK and Ireland compliance legislation and Group compliance rules.
- Manage the flow of new business via the internal sales system and complete related tasks.
- Act as the frontline contact for external and internal queries when sales managers are unavailable.
- Take ownership of all inbound and outbound queries from internal and external customers.
- Support the assessment and loading of new business submissions.
- Support the Mid Market Sales team in planning events and training for brokers.
- Participate in projects and user acceptance testing for new systems/processes impacting the Commercial Department.
- Provide strong administration support for the broker sales team.
- Assist sales managers in preparing new business proposals.
- Involve in SME schemes to maximize revenue.
- Assist with the preparation and attend prospect/broker meetings with New Business Managers.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Head of National Broker Sales.
Requirements
- Minimum of B grade or level 5 GCSE in English and Maths.
- Ability to execute tasks to a high standard while retaining focus.
- Good organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills, including managing challenging conversations and relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Numerate with the ability to analyze information and produce reports.
- Ability to process processes and procedures.
- Experience of providing administrative support is desired.
- Excellent telephony skills.
- Excellent IT skills.
- An understanding of FCA regulations and compliance.
