About the Role

Join the Squadra as Floor Manager in Berlin, Germany. In this key role, you will drive the success of your trattoria while upholding Big Mamma's core values of authenticity, excellence, meritocracy, and entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee excellence, consistency, and speed of service.
• Supervise a warm and attentive welcome for all guests.
• Optimize table turnover and ensure average spend meets set targets.
• Ensure smooth daily operations on the floor.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in the dining area.
• Identify ways to optimize labor costs related to front-of-house operations.
• Manage team rosters and shift planning.
• Oversee wine, dishware, and uniform inventory and orders.
• Be responsible for the cash register.
• Ensure the proper upkeep of all front-of-house equipment.
• Approve new hires and oversee onboarding of new team members.
• Lead daily training sessions and share the Big Mamma vision with your team.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Encourage strong coordination between kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams.
• Work side by side with your Assistant Manager at least once a week to ensure smooth service.
