About the Role
As a Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams. You will gain vast industry experience, extend your skillset, and expand your perspective. Responsibilities
- Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
- Resolve commercial, change orders, and contract issues quickly and fairly.
- Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling claims to ensure the client gets best value.
- Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
- Support project management and decision-making through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
- Actively participate in the tender/bid process, from documentation through analysis and reporting.
- Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and communicate variations.
Requirements
- Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
- Willingness to travel for short periods to meet with clients, partners, and team.
- Ability to thrive on building strong relationships with team and clients through shared purpose, openness, and fun.
Education Level
- Degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline.
