About the Role
As a Senior Product Builder, you will own a core product area end-to-end, working alongside top-tier engineers. You will write specs, prototype ideas, and ship features, leveraging AI tools. The role involves understanding user needs, operational workflows, and regulatory demands within a complex and regulated domain, with a focus on creating genuinely beneficial products for users.
Responsibilities
- Build and prototype ideas, shipping features with engineering.
- Gain deep understanding of the accounting and payroll domain, including German bookkeeping.
- Ensure accounting and payroll workflows are correct, auditable, and traceable.
- Determine the role of AI in product development, designing workflows that improve with technology.
- Automate manual tasks using AI agents to reduce grunt work and save time.
- Own the full product lifecycle for your area: discovery, prioritization, release, and iteration.
Requirements
- Ability to prototype ideas and take them to completion.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for building, or a strong desire to learn.
- Experience taking products from 0 to 1.
- Ability to work independently, think in systems, and bring clarity to complex domains.
- Ability to set and maintain a high standard for product quality while prioritizing shipping and learning.
- Fluent in German and English.
