About the Role

Drive sales of FTSE Russell Indexes by identifying new opportunities within current clients or new prospects and leading targeted sales campaigns. Engage clients and prospects by offering innovative, tailored, and/or jointly developed Index solutions, utilizing products and solutions across the group. Identify and nurture relationships with key persons and influencers at all levels, becoming a trusted expert on market trends and client requirements. Communicate and coordinate client requirements internally for new index go-to-market plans, product development, and cross-selling opportunities. Raise client problems and coordinate towards solutions, capturing and maintaining information in a structured manner.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of FTSE Russell Indexes by identifying new opportunities within current clients or new prospects
• Lead targeted Sales Campaigns focused at generating new business
• Engage clients and prospects offering innovative, tailored, and/or jointly developed Index solutions, making use of products and solutions across the group
• Identify and nurture relationships with key persons and influencers at all levels
• Become a trusted expert on market trends and clients requirements - having knowledge of clients' businesses, problems and future development goals
• Communicate and coordinate client requirements internally - in areas related to new index go-to-market plans, existing or new product development, and cross-selling opportunities across the group
• Raises client problems and coordinates towards solutions
• Capture, Share and maintain information in structured and orderly manner

Requirements

• 3 years+ experience of proven ability in sales / new business development within the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of investment management process and ecosystem, both domestically and globally, across multiple asset-classes
• Solutions-based selling experience
• Willingness to learn and ability to learn faster
• Strong desire to explore greater personal growth

Skills

• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Business level proficiency in Japanese and English
