About the Role
This Finance Project Controller role supports Arcadis Way Project Managers with effective financial management of projects to maintain a strong revenue recognition process.
Responsibilities
- Ensure correct project setup in line with system and general project constraints.
- Ensure time and costs are accurately recorded on projects.
- Ensure Contract Values are updated in line with company policy.
- Review project performance in line with Revenue Recognition process.
- Update project financials including forecasts alongside AWPMs.
- Monitor Work in Progress on projects.
- Monitor timesheet submission and Non Billable project time bookings to ensure accurate revenue recording.
- Support the business in driving best use of business systems.
- Build trusted relationships with internal clients to ensure appropriate quality and service.
- Support Arcadis Way Project Managers on the ERP system.
- Liaise with Credit Control to help cash collection.
- Perform other duties as required by Line Manager or Arcadis.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in a project/commercial role.
- Experience of working in a medium/large organization.
- Medium proficiency in Excel & ERP.
- Attention to detail.
- Highly motivated.
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
- Part Qualified accounting qualification or equivalent by experience.
