About the Role
As the Head of Technical Department, you will be responsible for the holistic management of all technical projects, ensuring their economic, quality, and timely execution. You will also develop processes and digitalization initiatives, serving as a central point of contact between the board, other departments, and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Overall management in terms of expertise, discipline, organization, and economic-commercial aspects.
- Planning of construction projects and project management of planning offices and construction companies.
- Creation of profitability calculations, expert evaluation of tenders and awards, quality and cost management.
- Management of digitalization processes and maintenance management.
- Participation in strategic investment decisions (energy transition, portfolio development).
- Close collaboration with the board, serving as a contact person for members, employees, and authorities.
Requirements
- Technical degree in fields such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in renovation, maintenance, or new construction.
- In-depth knowledge of VOB (Construction Tendering and Contract Regulations), HOAI (Architects and Engineers Fee Structure), and construction law.
- IT competencies including proficiency with MS Office, ERP systems, digital tools, and data analysis.
- Experience in managing employees.
- Strong communication skills and excellent command of written and spoken German.
- Social competence, decisiveness, and value-oriented approach.
