About the Role
We are looking for engineers who are passionate about technology and bringing the best product to our customers. You will have a strong technical background, understand the product, and be able to make an impact on all steps of the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Create and design modular, scalable, testable, tested, and performant systems that interface via well-defined endpoints using software engineering best practices.
- Identify root causes of system issues and determine short and long-term resolutions.
- Adapt to and work within a fast-paced environment, shipping products quickly and iterating based on feedback.
- Work on and intervene in the entire software lifecycle.
- Promote Continuous Improvement by identifying process efficiencies and quality improvements.
- Provide guidance to and mentor more junior team members.
- Share product insights with stakeholders and challenge product decisions.
- Clearly and concisely communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational challenges and propose thorough iterative solutions.
- Work within a cross-functional team, collaborative environment, and contribute to technical, design, and retrospective discussions.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of working experience as a Software Engineer.
- High level of pragmatism.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with both strongly and dynamically typed languages.
