About the Role

As a Director, you will be part of the Divisions Senior Leadership Team, collaborating with the Executive Director to manage strategic and operational aspects of service delivery areas including Youth Residential Services, Home Based Care, and Community Services. This role involves overseeing specific portfolios and fostering innovation while maintaining a strong focus on performance and risk management to improve the lives of vulnerable children, youth, and families in Victoria.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the strategic and operational aspects of specific service delivery areas.
  • Oversee Home Based Care, Kinship Care, Better Futures Community Services, AoD teams, Parentzone, Financial Counselling, and Respectful Relationships programs.
  • Oversee Administration at the main offices in Box Hill and Lilydale.
  • Create service delivery connections and interventions across multiple service streams.
  • Deliver high-quality and responsive services against operational requirements.
  • Develop services in line with the overall Anglicare Victoria (AV) Strategy.
  • Improve the lives of vulnerable children, youth, and families in Victoria.

Requirements

  • High levels of emotional intelligence.
  • Engaging, warm, and personable approach to leadership.
  • Experienced in leading large teams across varied portfolios.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience in the human service delivery system, with reference to Out of Home Care and Child Protection.
  • Understanding of relevant theoretical frameworks and evidence-based models relating to youth services, family services, children and young people.
  • Exceptional leadership capability in respect to people, performance, and outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Capacity to foresee, manage, and resolve service, financial, and human resource issues proactively and expertly.

Salary/Compensations

  • Total salary package of $213,869.12 (Base $177,954.57, Super $22,914.55, Car allowance $13,000.00 OR fully maintained vehicle)
