About the Role
This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective rostering of client services across our home care network. You will play a key part in delivering personalised, integrated, and high-quality care by aligning staff skills with client needs and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Manage accurate and timely rostering of services to meet client needs and organisational standards
- Act as the first point of contact for care staff regarding rostering requirements
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards, funding requirements, WHS, and enterprise agreements
- Collaborate with clients, their support networks, and care coordinators to uphold client choice and dignity
- Monitor KPIs related to travel time, missed services, and labour hire
- Provide training and support on rostering systems and processes
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Experience with rostering systems and database management – we use AlayCare
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
- Knowledge of EBAs, penalty rates, and scheduling across multiple sites
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to person-centred care and respect for diversity
- An empathetic nature and have patience, particularly when dealing with our senior clients
- A valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, must be verified prior to commencing employment
