About the Role
The Key Account Manager is responsible for growth of sales and profitability through maintaining and expanding relationships with Key account customers. The Key Account Manager will be the lead point of communication for all key account matters, anticipate the customers’ needs, work within the company to ensure timeline for the customer are met, and help the client's success. The Key Account Manager will also bring in new business from existing customers or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential customers.
Responsibilities
- Maximizing sales and profit from assigned key accounts through strategic account management
- Focusing on business visibility improvement through accurate and timely forecasting of order and sales
- Pursuing business opportunity expansion with customer intelligence, market insight and strategic account planning
- Analyze purchase history, customer’s preference and buying behavior
- Identify customer’s organization and influence map
- Understand customer’s short- and long-term strategy and monitor customer’s pipeline evolution and business execution
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship with both Key account customers and Cytiva internal teams
- Negotiating contracts with the key accounts and establishing a timeline of performance
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients
Requirements
- 3~10 years of direct sales or equivalent role in life sciences and bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
- Technical expertise in BioProcess and Life science domain
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Strong negotiation skills with ability of following-through on customer contracts
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Fluent level of English & Korean in written and verbal communications
- Ability to travel abroad upon business needs
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record within territory or locations
