About the Role
As a Client Events Specialist, you will be the creative force behind client-facing events, ranging from seminars to receptions. You will manage a portfolio of programs in a dynamic, partner-driven environment, ensuring flawless execution while supporting the firm's business development goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of client programs including CLE seminars, receptions, dinners, and special events.
- Coordinate venues, vendors, catering, and AV.
- Build timelines, checklists, and run-of-show documents.
- Track event budgets, support contract review, and monitor cost variances.
- Lead post-event wrap-up, including vendor follow-up, attendance reconciliation, and feedback gathering.
- Partner with Marketing and BD colleagues to align events with client engagement goals.
- Manage RSVP tracking, distribution, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain CVENT registrations and Salesforce campaigns to ensure accurate data reporting.
- Collaborate with leadership and support senior colleagues on high-visibility events.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of progressive event management experience, ideally in a law firm or professional-services setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality on firm matters.
- Ability to lift/push up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during on-site execution.
