About the Role

Docusign is seeking Software Engineers to join their development team in Seattle/San Francisco. This role will focus on Docusign's Platform, responsible for high scale and low latency services. The position involves building a No-Code Business Process Automation framework, requiring critical thinking, adaptability, and a passion for creating quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant full-stack systems across backend services and front-end applications.
  • Build high-quality, production-ready code with comprehensive test coverage for both backend and frontend layers.
  • Implement web-scale services using microservices principles and containerized cloud technologies, while creating intuitive front-end interfaces.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into end-to-end solutions.
  • Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing, and release of full-stack features.
  • Participate in the entire software lifecycle, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and regional cloud deployments.
  • Explore and adopt new technologies and best practices to improve system performance, maintainability, and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree.
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and regional cloud deployments.
  • This position is not eligible for employment in the following states: Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming.

Salary/Compensations

  • California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salary
  • Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $140,100.00 - $206,775.00 base salary

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
