About the Role
We are seeking a leader to build a world-class team and own the talent function, encompassing recruiting, HR, employee development, office environment, and culture events. This role involves leveraging AI systems to streamline operations and requires a hands-on approach to all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Define talent and operational strategies and systems.
- Lead relevant section of team meetings.
- Oversee & customize relevant AI applications.
- Manage full cycle recruiting process including sourcing, resume review, recruiter calls, interview scheduling, feedback compilation, and candidate communication.
- Develop direct relationships with existing team members, providing operational and morale leadership.
- Compile and help deliver feedback to team members.
- Design and execute a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience.
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and documentation within the HRIS.
- Own company compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and manage workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain and regularly update the Employee Handbook.
- Formalize the performance management process, driving the schedule for reviews, goal-setting, and career development tracking.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, resolving conflicts and performance issues.
- Support managing benefits administration, including open enrollment, healthcare plans, retirement options, and wellness perks.
- Own the daily office rhythm: supplies, mail/packages, guest experience, meeting room readiness, and general office organization.
- Coordinate vendors and service providers.
- Manage office inventory and purchasing.
- Develop and maintain office guidelines.
- Manage and coordinate all events, including internal, external, and office-hosted events.
- Execute event management tasks such as coordination, catering, scheduling, RSVPs, set-up, and breakdown.
Requirements
- 5+ years of recruiting experience.
- Relevant work experience, preferable from other tech companies.
- Ability to work well in an unstructured environment by creating systems.
- Experience managing timelines and organizing information into plans.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with various software and tools related to marketing, event planning, content creation, and data management.
