About the Role

Sierra is building a platform to help businesses create better customer experiences with AI. This role will own the strategy and execution of Sierra's third-party event portfolio, designing high-impact experiences and enabling sales to drive pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Build the third-party event portfolio, owning strategy and evaluating opportunities against pipeline goals, audience fit, and brand impact.
  • Design high-impact event experiences, including executive roundtables, panels, fireside chats, dinners, and field events, and define their content and messaging.
  • Develop booth content and on-site narrative to reflect brand and clearly tell the Sierra story.
  • Own sales enablement for events, partnering with Sales to build pre-event targeting and outreach, equip the field with materials, and develop post-event templates and follow-up motions.
  • Integrate events into broader marketing campaigns, connecting them to content, demand gen, social, and ABM efforts for a coherent narrative and compounding results.
  • Track event performance, gather feedback, and create reusable playbooks.
  • Compile post-event reporting to capture successes, failures, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of event marketing experience planning and executing corporate events.
  • Strategic track record building event programs that drive measurable pipeline.
  • Experience designing and programming event formats and developing content and messaging for senior audiences.
  • Strong partnership instinct with Sales, understanding how events feed pipeline and building the necessary targeting, outreach, enablement, and follow-up.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage producers, agencies, vendors, and conference/sponsorship relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate plans and insights to all levels of the organization.
  • Enthusiasm for managing events nationwide or internationally, with flexibility for regular travel.
