About the Role
Drive sustainable outcomes and ensure the project creates value for the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project, our client, and communities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate compliance with contractual requirements related to Sustainability.
- Coordinate with interface contractors to align Sustainability requirements for contract and rating tool compliance.
- Provide specialist sustainability support to internal stakeholders, including design and construction teams.
- Implement project data collection, auditing, and review processes.
- Promote understanding of sustainability risks and opportunities for balanced decision-making.
- Hold sustainability workshops with external and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor sustainability consultants and the collection of sustainability information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sustainability requirements and inform management and staff of changes.
- Provide training to staff on sustainability matters, including assessment tool obligations.
- Implement the Sustainability Management Plan.
- Mentor and support the development of project sustainability professionals.
- Perform all duties in accordance with SMWLW policies, processes, systems, and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in ISC and using version 2.1.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sustainability.
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, Environment, or Sustainability, or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and organized.
