About the Role
As an HSE Business Partner at Tip Top Bakeries, you will act as a trusted advisor to site leadership, implementing and improving health, safety, and environmental initiatives. You will provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to strengthen safety performance, reduce workplace risk, and ensure compliance with WHS legislation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership teams to embed a strong health, safety and environmental culture
- Provide practical HSE coaching, advice and support across operations
- Lead and support risk management initiatives, investigations and corrective actions
- Facilitate HSE training programs including incident management, PPE, safe handling and hazard awareness
- Monitor, analyse and report on injury, incident and workers compensation data
- Support injury management, return-to-work programs and workers compensation processes
- Coordinate HSE audits, self-assessments and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company standards and regulatory requirements
- Support environmental compliance, reporting and sustainability initiatives
- Contribute to the ongoing success of Tip Top's Steps to Zero and Safety for Everyone, Everyday programs
Requirements
- Diploma in Health & Safety
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environment role within a FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and injury management practices
- Demonstrated experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and business partnering skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience facilitating training and influencing behavioural change
- Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
