About the Role
Mission Australia is seeking a proactive and highly organised Administration Officer to provide essential administrative support to our customer experience team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgement, and is committed to delivering high-quality administrative support with professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity. Reporting to the customer hub manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office while supporting rent review team and service delivery outcomes across Mission Australia Housing.
Responsibilities
- Providing high-level administrative support
- Managing records, databases, filing systems, and archiving processes
- Handling housing inboxes, tenant enquiries and feedback with professionalism and discretion
- Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes, room bookings, and catering
- Preparing bulk correspondence for tenant communication
- Supporting the customer hub and rent review teams with reports and documentation
- Supporting financial administration, reimbursements and invoicing
- Organising travel bookings and fleet vehicle servicing
- Maintaining office supplies, assets, and inventory systems
- Supporting compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Requirements
- Relevant qualification and/or demonstrated experience in administration support
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Experience in community services and or social housing
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively in a busy and complex environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks and WWCC
