About the Role
As a Barista at Blue Bottle Coffee, you will deliver exceptional hospitality, learn coffee skills and knowledge, and contribute to improving the team and guest experience as a self-starter. You will support the leadership team as part of the cafe team to improve cafe operations and environment, realizing Blue Bottle Coffee's vision.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospitality tailored to each guest's needs while serving delicious coffee.
- Perform cleaning duties to ensure smooth operations in a beautiful environment and support the team.
- Collaborate with the team leader to improve cafe operations and environment using internal resources.
- Share your ideas with leaders and the team to contribute to cafe improvements.
- Understand cafe business goals and support the leadership team.
- Undertake some cafe operational tasks, including training, based on team needs and personal growth opportunities.
- Adhere to operational guidelines with a focus on compliance, ensuring the success of new company initiatives and developments.
Requirements
- Must be able to work long-term for 2 years or more.
- Must be able to work weekdays and weekends/holidays.
- Must be able to work approximately 6 hours a day (may vary depending on business fluctuations).
- Must be able to work flexibly according to business hours.
- Must be able to work approximately 30-40 hours per week, exceeding the scope of dependent exemptions.
- Students should consult with their families as needed before applying.
- Must be able to work 5 days a week.
