About the Role
The Enterprise Collaboration Platforms Administrator will serve as the primary administrator for the firm’s multi-platform collaboration ecosystem, including Slack Enterprise Grid, Microsoft Teams, Lark, Webex, and Zoom. This role focuses on platform governance, AI bot deployments, and full production administration of Lark, including SSO, lifecycle management, and bot governance.
Responsibilities
- Own production administration of Slack Enterprise Grid, Microsoft Teams, and Lark, ensuring equivalent governance and assisting with Webex and Zoom administration.
- Manage identity lifecycle across platforms via Entra ID, including SCIM provisioning/deprovisioning, SSO configuration, and auto-offboarding.
- Maintain a registry of all deployed apps, bots, and agents, documenting OAuth scopes, data access, host dependencies, and approval chains, and manage incident response for silent bot hosts.
- Assess and document cross-platform data flows, enforce governance boundaries, and perform security reviews of apps with external data movement.
- Configure and maintain retention, legal-hold, and eDiscovery export processes across all platforms in alignment with records management and matter-specific obligations.
- Participate in InfoSec audits of app scopes and data residency.
- Own Slack Enterprise Grid org configuration, including workspace provisioning, member access tiers, guest and Slack Connect governance, channel policies, and the App Approval Policy.
- Administer Slack compliance controls, including message retention, EKM configuration, DLP integrations, eDiscovery exports, and Enterprise Grid audit-log exports.
- Administer Microsoft Teams within the firm’s M365 environment, including lifecycle and naming policies, guest access, calling and meeting policies, app policies, and sensitivity labels.
- Configure Teams compliance through Microsoft Purview, including communication-compliance policies, retention labels, meeting-recording storage, and eDiscovery.
- Own full production administration of the Lark Admin Console for the firm’s APAC population, including org structure, member roles, SAML 2.0 SSO and SCIM, App Directory governance, and security settings.
- Enforce Lark data residency and evaluate Lark AI features for privilege and retention risk.
- Build and maintain Lark custom bots via the Lark Open Platform API and administer Lark retention, legal-hold exports, audit-log monitoring, and Lark Connect.
- Publish and maintain governance documentation for each platform.
- Train attorneys and staff on policies, data classification, and bot interaction guidelines.
- Serve as the escalation point and vendor-support coordinator across the firm’s offices.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex collaboration platform issues.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams.
