About the Role

Accendra Health aims to simplify healthcare by delivering care beyond traditional settings and making essential products and services more accessible. As a Market Sales Manager, you will lead a sales team, drive revenue growth, and foster a positive culture, acting as a leader and trusted advisor within your market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-time sales employees and deliver on sales growth targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Develop and enhance team selling skills and drive performance growth.
  • Support company and market initiatives.
  • Hire, coach, manage, and provide in-field training for the sales team.
  • Spend significant time working with sales employees in the field.
  • Provide input on national sales training curriculum and materials.
  • Nurture culture and engagement while overseeing strategies to improve employee and patient experience.
  • Achieve budgeted and year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Be in the field with sales employees, referrals, and decision-makers at least 4 days per week.
  • Assess sales employee skills and knowledge through joint sales calls and performance observation.
  • Provide coaching and model desired behaviors to enhance understanding of concepts and techniques.
  • Cultivate and promote a culture reinforcing Apria’s vision and core values.
  • Create a diverse, inclusive, and psychologically safe work environment.
  • Ensure the sales force has necessary skills and knowledge through training (virtual or in-person).
  • Provide feedback and recommend future training programs to Corporate Sales Training.
  • Create an inspiring team atmosphere with open communication.
  • Maintain a big-picture perspective, linking programs and activities to a cohesive employee experience.
  • Set clear, concise, and attainable team goals.
  • Motivate team members for full engagement and peak performance.
  • Lead by example with clear direction, candid feedback, and trust-building communication.
  • Recognize high performance, encourage creativity, and reward accomplishments.
  • Serve as a market subject matter expert on new sales initiatives and programs.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on programs to identify and correct issues.
  • Reside and travel within the geography of the assigned market.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Education or experience equivalent to a four-year degree is required.
  • At least five years of related industry experience in sales leadership is required.
  • At least 5 years of frontline selling is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Extensive travel within his/her market, over 75%, is required.
  • Must be able to travel by plane and automobile.

Skills

  • Strong business acumen to work with all levels, including executive management.
  • Strong field credibility based on successful selling track record, a winning attitude, and detailed product and process knowledge.
  • Exceptional administrative and time management skills.
  • Experience and interest in coaching others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of sales management tools and resources such as Salesforce.com, sales targeting data, Microsoft suite, etc.
  • Basic Math Skills.
  • English (reading, writing, verbal).

Salary/Compensations

  • $150,000 - $160,000 USD a year with uncapped commission.
