About the Role

Develops solutions and solves complex problems to deliver engineering projects on-time, on-quality, and on-budget, directly impacting positive project outcomes. Writes reports and presents work carried out at peer and design reviews. Develops processes for the team and influences decisions by providing technical advice. Remains current on trends and emerging technologies and tools. May provide training, coaching, and advice to more junior team members. May estimate engineering packages of work to identify dependencies and ensure the deliverability of assigned work packages. May include safety, environmental protection, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and experience within a relevant complex engineering environment.
  • Requires SC Clearance. Must undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.
  • To be eligible for full SC, generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
  • Requires a Baseline Personnel Security Standard Check (BPSS) as a minimum.
  • Candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years.
  • Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance which can require further evidence to be provided.
