About the Role

Project Redirect Inc of the District is seeking a Director of Operations in Queens, NY, to lead organizational performance and drive strategic initiatives within a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily operational functions across all departments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funding agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and organizational policies.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management.
  • Proven track record of managing budgets, staff, and multi-departmental operations.
  • Experience in nonprofit, community services, or social services sectors is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in operational software, data management, and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, grant management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborative, mission-driven leader with a passion for community impact.
