About the Role
LCRA is seeking a motivated and self-directed individual to manage a portfolio of transmission line and substation construction projects. This role involves traveling to various construction sites across Texas to monitor contractor performance and ensure the successful completion of the capital plan through collaboration and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Create Statements of Work for construction services
- Lead and coordinate with departmental stakeholders
- Schedule and lead construction status meetings
- Read and interpret construction drawings, bid documents, and engineering specifications
- Identify project risks and develop solutions
- Work independently and within a team environment
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written channels
Requirements
- Twelve or more years of experience in construction management
- Four or more years of leadership or relevant contractor management experience
- Valid driver's license
